I'm using a logarithmic scale, which means the lines that define the channels on my plot are exponential on your plot. it reduces the higher values by an exponential base 10. You'll notice that the numbers on the Y axis get closer together towards the top.
It enables me to draw longer lines, straighter channels and draw firmer relationships.
