I think the whole premise of setting up a company for trading as opposed to doing it from an individual account is to avoid some taxes, no? I’d suppose the different taxation rates provide incentives to restructure one’s operations such that you incur the least amount of tax, legally, which is tax avoidance, not evasion.
Hence why I asked how one realises this benefit. I’d suppose one can arrange for the company to receive tax credits from dividend payment and hence that could offset the individual tax implications arising from paying yourself dividends but overall I wonder whether one ends up better off or not and I suppose his in a position, from practice, to elaborate on it.
