what happened to the major jv partner?, page-9

While I am still hanging in, the following issues worry me a little:

-AOI does not mention their relationship with Range in their statements for a
while now.
- AOI has been in discussions with the Puntland government recently and no
announcement was made to the market as to the results of that meeting.
- No money was budgeted for drilling in Puntland by AOI, yet they still
talk about drilling there before the end of the year.

Therefor, I am not discounting the possibility, that these meetings could have been about discussing a total new agreement with AOI only, declaring the earlier ones nul and void with Range being side tracked.Hence there is no need to rush into drilling dates, as the new arrangement could have different time lines.

I hope I am wrong, but this scenario was floating well over a year ago on the ADVFN boards when Brantley still was a valuable contributor at hotcopper and the AOI boards.
This is not a down ramp, purely trowing some ideas as to why nothing is set in motion yet re the drilling dates.
