I think I normally can stand back and look at most situations logically.

I have tried to stand back and look logically at the ARM boat people who have arrived on Brainchip shores and ask myself what is it they are fleeing in their former company that makes crossing the ocean in a leaky boat to a new company so attractive.

In the early days of Australia we had convicts and free settlers. Convicts chose transportation over execution. Free settlers they came because things were so bad where they were it could not be worse. No clues here to why these ARM employees set sail.

The next wave of boat people was caused by the discovery of gold and they came in there tens of thousands not because where they were was terrible but because they could see an opportunity to make their fortune and acquire wealth beyond their wildest dreams.

So I am left to ask was the prospect of Nvidia taking over ARM so egregious that an unknown future on the shores of Brainchip was based on the idea that it could not be any worse or did Brainchip present an opportunity to strike gold and acquire wealth beyond their wildest dreams.

I will leave it to you to decide.
