Looking at his background he appears to usually be the General Manager. He worked for 12 months at DW8 as COO setting up the logistics network with the additional couriers such as Border Express, Start Track etc. Most likely also set up the trade delivery fleet prior to his departure.

For the timing to be exactly 12 months & not an odd timing such as 7 months or 15 months etc means he most likely had an arrangement with DW8 for 12 months to assist DT set up the logistics network & then move on. His usual role is GM & not for start ups. Established multi-nationals are his style & that is exactly where he has moved on to Lineage Logistics as the GM.

Most likely departed on good terms & could possibly assist DW8 with global expansion in his new role. He still has DW8 as previous employer on Linkedin. If he left on bad terms he would have removed it especially now that he has a new job.

No announcement by DW8 about it so business as usual. We'll keep an eye out at Seek for a new COO ad or maybe James Munn etc will become COO.
