Very interesting. Afterpay was at 150+ and this was based on market sentiment. Afterpay for me is just a case study. So agreed that the value does not makes sense.
Afterpay trades at 36 times sales for FY21. Assuming the same level of sales as 1H21 are achieved.
IOUpay trades at 36 times sales as well.
Humm trades at 1 and Laybuy trades at 6.
VISA with its market dominance trades at 9.8 sales and its gross margins are hitting 75%.
My friends working at AMEX seem to think once the int-rate goes upto 3 to 4, Afterpay is done. The volumetric growth will not be enough to offset rise in borrowing cost.
With all these facts, it is still very hard to call that it won't hit $150 , $160 , $200 or $Moon
