Have a friend in Victoria that had a uncle in a nursing home riddled with cancer, was fighting it for 2 years, passed away during the height of the lockdowns here. The nursing home marked it down as a covid death and offered them $12,000 to keep it as a covid death , the family kicked up and wouldn't accept it, even threatened legal action.
I'm not sure if the statistic was ever changed considering how much money the nursing homes received for every covid death, which i believe was around $50,000. Fact check that one.
