I would have to agree with you on this one, however the sp today does not reflect that kind of analysis - there are clearly other factors at work here.

The sp ended today at 71.5c, it was about 56c when the offer announcement was made and started dropping almost straight away att but has rebounded strongly since. Also, volumes are up, notably with sizable parcels, which would indicate this is not just a case some of some buying in on the offer opportunity.

This one is not behaving in the "traditional" manner and although there are theories as to why, I tend to believe it is because the uncertainty over project funding has been all but eliminated.

Of course, we will see...
