    woteva......i give it $1000 this week. that is, if there are indeed forces that want gold above $1000 so as to reek havoc with the American commitment to manipulating POG i.e. a political battle.

    if the battle for $1000 is only about investors wanting in before lift-off then you may be right. damn intriquing though, the whole game.
