Without using any knowledge of the area and I'd suggest that the EV charging stations would be a replacement for the existing Petrol stations, probably less. imo

Evolving battery ranges today are now greater than yesterday.

2/3 charges for the 900 kms is not that much. Is it? (1 or 2 charging stations after you left Daly Waters)

Who needs to do it tomorrow or the next day though.
