Folk's , following on from my previous post some time ago I am pleased to reveal some of my findings and research regarding some of the mysteries associated with the Tansim blocks , their CDC claims , and the remaining TWO CDC claims which appear to be still held by Exiro Minerals.

I've got a lot of content and Maps to get through so will endeavor to spread my research over a couple of posts at least and which will try to fill in some important gaps and concepts along the way.

To kick it off , I will simply say that win , lose , or draw on the NAL BID , the ' Lithium HUB ' concept seems very much alive and well in Quebec. And frankly never has it been more evident now which I will expand upon in my follow up posts after this one.

However , if you were looking for a reason to BUY SYA , I suppose you wouldn't have to look too much past what's happening in and around the Tansim Project.

So I'll launch into it by FIRSTLY covering off some Geological History in the area with the following information. Note I have updated one of my previous Maps which NOW include the most recent additions to Sayona's total CDC claims with Particular interest to those which have been bolted onto to the South East of the 5 previous Lac SImard Claims.

Not only are these as equally as interesting as those contiguous CDC claims completing the HUGE Tansim Block of claims to the North - North West , they are also very interesting given the intermittent and sparse exploration conducted in this area since as far back as the 1950's.

So if you weren't already aware , these Lac Simard CDC's re located just to the south of what was previously referred to as the Debreuil Property which comprised 8 claims previously held by Berkwood Resources Ltd. Note the 4.1 g /t Ag as well as some other base metals findings per below history.

Note Also , I was able to reconcile what the likely reason is that Exiro has retained the TWO remaining claims , with one only having to look at their own historical Li and Ta results on their TWO CDC claims as follows :-

Adjacent Showings Northwest of Delbreuil Property ( ie Exiro Minerals TWO claims ) :-

At the Lac Simard showing, located 20km northwest of the Property, a pegmatite dyke measuring 285m of length and 24.3m in width have been observed (Gagnier, 1980). Mineralization is composed of spodumene (20-45cm long) and columbo-tantalite. Analysis done by Soquem in 1980 returned1% LiO2, 0.01% Ta2O5, 95ppm Nb2O5 and 80ppm BeO. Up to 30% spodumen is found in this showing. Analysis of a schists near the showing showed values of 2060ppm of Rare Earth Elements, 160ppm Ta. Samples up to 1.3% Li have been found on this showing (Fleury, 2013).

    Delbreuil Property brief History :-

    - one block - 8 CDC's (claims) ( 5 of which were previously acquired by Sayona as per above Map )
previously and most recently owned by ( Berkwood Resources Ltd )
The Property is made of one block of 8 claims, all of them in good standing, totaling approximately 464.41 hectares or 4.64km2. Additionally, a total of 45 claims (approximately 2,600 hectares) were staked under 1124026 B.C. Ltd’s name. = Berkwood Resources Ltd.

    Adjacent showings near the property

    The Delbreuil Showing on the property has been explored for precious and base metals. Mineralization consists in pyrite, chalcopyrite with traces of molybdenite, sphalerite and pyrrhotite. Best assay results returned 3.4% Zn, 0.27% Ni, 0.38% Cu,4.1g/t Ag and 0.06% Co (Halle, 1999; Miller, 1958; Sieb, 1987);

Some of the earliest exploration in the Area can be summarized by the airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveys which were conducted in 1958, 1964, 1965, 1988, 2004, 2005 and 2006 with drilling campaigns being conducted in 1957, 1966 and 1987 which in turn produced Lithium values of 1,290ppm (1.29% Li) having been returned from a pegmatitic outcrop.

The historical drilling can be further broken as follows :-

In 1957, Belleterre Quebec Mines Ltd. conducted a three-hole survey on the property. They intersected volcano sedimentary rocks (rhyolite, greywacke tuffs) and feldspar porphyry. Visible mineralization consisted in pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite. No results have been reported (Miller, 1957).

In 1966, Scope Mining & Exploration Consultants Limited conducted a three holes survey on the property. They intersected volcano sedimentary rocks (rhyolite, greywacke) and feldspar porphyry. Mineralization consisted in pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite. Best assay results returned up to 0.24% Ni, 0.50% Cu and 1.36% Zn (Smith, 1966).

In 1987, Alotta Resources Ltd conducted seven drill holes on the property. They intersected mafic (peridotite, pyroxenites), quartzites horizonsand pegmatitic dykes.Mineralization consisted in pyrite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite. Best assay results returned up to 0.2598% Ni over 24 feet and 0.31% Cu over 41 feet (Sieb, 1987).Lithium was not analysed.

Here is some additional historical information which pre dates even the more recent tenures by the above mentioned Berkwood Resources ( previously renamed Goldcore Resources Ltd in Oct 2020 and more recently to Green Battery Minerals Inc or CVE: GEM ) and who acquired the Delbreuil Lithium project back in July 2017 and before the last Lithium Bull Market Run. There market capitalization is currently sitting at CAD $9.59 million.

Additional Information as taken from a French translated research report undertaken in 2003 in regards the Lac Simard Geology :-

Mistassini Mineral Resources Inc. owns ( owned ) a property of 4 claims, 64 hectares ( see attached Maps ) on the north shore of Lake Simard, in the Delbreuil township in Témiscamingue. Mr. André Gauthier, president of the president of the company, gave us a mandate to reportevaluation of this property comprising an index of lithium, niobium, tantalum andberyllium; known under the name 31M / 10-3 or Viau index.

Mr. André Gauthier, President of Mistassini Mineral Resources Inc. mandatedthe author to carry out an appraisal of a property she owns in the townshipDelbreuil, on the north shore of La Simard, in Témiscamingue. This property includesa Lithium-Tantalum index

This property was acquired by Mistassini Mineral Resources on the presumption that high-tech minerals would experience a new boom in the future next. Indeed, since the winter of 2000-2001 all the land surrounding this propertyhave been staked and / or designated on a map by other mining stakeholders, mainlyVirginia Gold Mines. The Lac Simard property of Mistassini Mineral Resources Inc. is located on the shorenorth of Lake Simard in Témiscamingue (figure )

Soquem's work on this index mentions old forest roads originatingroads of Rapide II or Rapide VII and passing north of the lake, but like thesework dates from the summer of 1981, it is unlikely that these roads are still accessibleeven off-road vehicles. ( remember this report was undertaken in 2003 - so what is access like now ) The types of mineralization observed show a rough zonation from the east towest and suggest that the source region of these pegmatites is on the east side, possibly on a more differentiated part of the monzodiorite

According to Boily et al., The large area covered by pegmatites from Lake Simardallows this region to be qualified as a fertile pegmatite field.

The Viau showing was discovered by prospecting in 1957. It is a mineralization oflithium with low contents of beryllium, iron, niobium and tantalum. There are atat least 3 complex pegmatite dykes trending E-W with a general dip of25 ° to 35 ° north. These dykes have been listed over 200 meters long and have athickness up to 30 meters. They contain irregular concentrations ofspodumene, a little apatite, lepidolite and a little magnetite. Part of adyke 61 m long by 4.6 m wide contains 30 to 40% spodumene. ( see below fro further discussion re:1957 findings )

In addition, “the types of mineralization observed show a coarse zonation of the eastto the west. Thus on the east side is found mineralization of Be, Li, Ta and someradioactive minerals, in the north center of the Li, Ta and Nb mineralizations, and in the westmainly in Li. According to the preliminary model of Trueman and Cerny (1982)developed for the Preissac-Lacorne batholith region, this zonation suggests that thesource region of these pegmatites is located on the east side, possibly in a moredifferentiated, and to be specified, from mozodiorite.

In 1975, Maurice Rive mentions that the pegmatites"the most interesting in terms of economic are, undoubtedly, those which outcrop within a radius of three miles approximately (4,800 m),around the northern and eastern shores of Lake Simard. Theypresent in dykes of 4 to 5 m of power, often oriented east-west, not deformedcontaining lepidolite, spodumene, beryl, columbo-tantaliteand morerarely, radioactive minerals ”.

The occurrence of mineralized pegmatite in this area has been known since the end of the1950s. Several prospectors and companies were active there intermittently. Ofprospecting, stripping, blasting, detailed mapping on showings, geophysical surveys and drilling have been carried out there. In 1977, the discovery of a blockmineralized containing 5.8% tantalum oxide and 0.83% uranium oxide on the shoreof the island of the refuge breathed new life into the exploration of this sector. Soquem andNoranda carried out a radiometric survey in 1978 over a large area including allthe region conducive to the presence of pegmatite, followed by surface prospecting on allknown showings and short drilling in the immediate surroundings of Refuge Island

These pegmatites have an E-W trending and a general dip of 25 ° to 35 ° to the north. Some of the pegmatites are at least 200 meters long and 30 meters thick. These contain irregular concentrations of gray or slightly spodumenegreenish, some amber apatite, fine-grained lepidolite and some magnetite.Part of a dyke is particularly rich: over a length of 61 meters and aaverage width of 4.6 meters, spodumene occupies 30 to 40% of the rock.

This clue, discovered in 1957, has hardly been worked on; the only card available is asketch made in 1960 by Jean Dugas, during a visit to the property and shows thestripped outcrops. Since that date, the various stakeholders have always usedthis figure. No reasonable scale mapping for a property, i.e. 1: 2,500does not seem to have occurred on this index. There is therefore no geological map that makes thesummary of the cartography of the trenches, the magnetometric survey, sampling of dykes and 4 holes from Tantalum Mining Corp.

So we can see that some o the earliest discoveries in the district were made during the late 1950s early 1960s at the Dallaire, Viau-Dallaire and the Viau showings and which where categorised as zoned granitic pegmatite dykes containing spodumene and which also found beryl, and colombo-tantalite.

In 2003 ( the time of the last compiled FRENCH report above ) , Matamec acquired a large package of land (the Tansim property) located north of Lake Simard and encompassing most of the previously investigated rare metal showings.

Matamec had conducted exploration on the property including mapping, sampling, geophysics as well as the preparation of a Canadian NI43-101. ( which is similar to our JORC Resource Code )
