My thoughts are this: expansion of the capital base and with it, increased velocity of money will lead to further growth of the world economy. This will drive inflation. The only unknown is whether central banks move interest rates up at the same rate. So far they have said no, because they think inflation will be muted at 2-2.2%. I don’t know what the future holds but if the past is anything to go by, CB’s have a rich history of stuffing the balance up. Meanwhile, I suspect if we don’t get a push in the POG above $1755 USD soon, then the bears may come out to play again.
