That's not scientific. It's about how often it is becoming dry ( or flooding ) or about a hundred other critical factors. " I don't believe in mmcc because I saw a photo of the Darling River empty from a 100 years ago ". Do you realise how stupid that example is ? Obviously you don't believe in any science then ? The same scientific organizations that you rely on for everyday life are telling you that mmcc is most likely real. They're not well known cash for comment shock jocks that work Murdoch whose sole purpose is to find clever ways to sell advertising. They are scientists that are employed to find ways to make life better. To cure diseases. To design better medical procedures. To produce better crops to feed people. To build better machines to fly us around the world safely. To make our water clean and safer to drink etc. That's what those scientists do. They don't sell advertising. They learn things. They discover things. They improve things. They invent things. I never refer to or use any fake news stuff. I quote authorised, well known accredited scientific organizations such as the CSIRO. I welcome you to show where I have ever done anything else. On the other hand, even in your post, you have made a vague reference to what Flannery said. Trouble is you are quoting something that has been both cherry picked and taken out of confidence. Why don't you post an actual interview of Flannery on video where we can see him speaking and we'll see how accurate your claim is. Not a cherry picked couple of second clip. The whole interview.

Waffle on with b..s##t, wallow in it and it will eventually provide enough fertiliser to progress to the oak stage. You google Flannery. It is educational. The lesson learned will be "beware" of experts. The whole story, from the start, not just a cherry picked couple of seconds. While you do that I'm off fishing. The rain (that wet stuff Flannery said we would not see much of) has given a big flush and has sent plenty of mud crabs and fish right to my front door.
