Some time ago a fella that I met a geologist, also made the claim that Fort Denison tidal water mark has shown no real change for many years, I thought he had me on this one and I can assure it really bugged me, so I researched the reason why some say sea level has risen and others say it is has not risen.
Google it and do some research, it is really interesting even for an uneducated fella like myself.
