I must have missed that bit . I do remember interest rates at 16 to 18% , no home buyers grant , requiring 33% deposit or the bank wouldn't even look at you and not having grandiose expectations of what sort of house I could afford and the fact that it may not have been in the trendiest suburb in town .
I think that's called not having a false sense of entitlement .................just sayin .
