I have been walking around the house in a sort of daze, only slept 3 hours last night. I am still coming to terms with Leslie's announcement on PD1, 2 Patients with no measurable tumours, one of those patients, only on the 5microgram dosage, 4 patients with no growth, only one patient with increase. Only PD1 given in the trial, no side effects, this is just a progress report and a phase one study to determine dosage.
Please stop and think about this, this is really unbelievable, there has never been results like this ever. For so long, for so many people cancer is a death sentence, we have all had friends and family die of cancer, I went to a funeral only two weeks ago for my best mate I knew since I was 5 all the way to year 12. The reality of this hasn't really sunk in yet, B cell drugs are looking like the holy grail. Wait till this really really hits the media, when the average person will feel like I do.
This has to be huge, next week is going to be a massive week.
