"It seems winter is really starting to kick in, with a run of cold days that will also help their bottom line, everyone loves to use power on cold days."

Well in the middle of the Adelaide heat wave, BBP could not supply peaking power due to plant failure. When they should have been optimising their revenue, they were earning zippo/zilch. Then came the downgrade and the spin from management(regrets etc). Do you have confidence that they will get it right next time?

"but the fact remains that the stock value is going up. That is ALL GOOD NEWS :-)"

Are you sure that a rising stock price is always "ALL GOOD NEWS"? The fundamental financial health of the company is all that matters and right now, BBP are on life support and at the absolute mercy of the banks.
GPG have bought stock and that should indicate some sort of corporate play given their history. Let's see if they move to 15%.
