On a sensible up ramping note there is an Australian biotechnology company which presently looks like it may have found a way to successfully treat gastric cancer.
The particular approach they use appears to have the greatest efficacy the earlier gastric cancer has been detected.
Unfortunately this disease is traditionally not discovered early as the present methods of detection are invasive and not something that can be administered routinely.
The opportunity for AKIDA/NaNose detector for gastric cancer is huge particularly as it will likely arrive at a time when a viable treatment will be available.
I have a to confess a double bias and excitement about what Brainchip is doing in this area stemming from the fact that on last Christmas Day my daughter-in-laws grandmother‘s twin sister was taken by gastric cancer.
