Incentives for environmentally friendly cars. Sure, if your Ferrari was electric, you can have your incentive.

My point was most people live in cities and don't have to worry about range. Those in regional areas at the moment have to plan their drives. So, stopping to recharge if they are going more than 300km.

But like I said, recharging is going to become less of an issue as the range increases.

Look at Tesla's car coming out next year at 1000km range. That's Brisbane to Sydney with no recharge. Dare I say, that's BETTER than an ICE car.

My point is that anything that requires government subsidies must be a dog. Let the market decide.

How much will the 1,000km range Tesla cost in Australia?
