The solution to GGG's problems is to export the ore to China without refining it locally. This was the strategy Lynas undertook when it shipped its ore from Australia to Malaysia for processing. GGG tried to do the right thing by proposing that it be processed locally thus giving employment to 100s of Greenlanders in the adjacent town. The locals have basically voted no to the jobs but if they still want the money from the mining royalties then shipping the ore to China unprocessed will solve the problem.
This penny will drop with IA shortly. i.e they can have their cake and eat it too.
