You definitely can't trust him on timeliness, communications or scope. Things will be late, we won't get told, and there will be extra steps added once they do arrive.
But in the years that I've held he has consistently moved this massive project slowly towards finance. I know these projects take this long. I still think one day Mt Peake will be the project everyone is talking about. I think my investments in TNG were good, but the timing was not and I take responsibility for that.
