surfy, i just had a chat with the geo....so much to take in, most of it is over my head, but in essence, he reiterated what was in the announcement in particular, the potential in the South East where the Kipper sands intrude into P47, and, they appear to be gas prone.
We spoke about how the Judith sands were shown originally as compartmentised due to faults.....while this is still the case, the data is clear enough to suggest they may actually be linked.
They are still working on the data as it arrives ( it hasnt all been received as again, its taking so much time to process due to the quantity of info) and hope to be able to update in the near future.
The feel i got was that all previous work has been proven correct only now, they have a far higher degree of confidence due to the quality of the data.
The advance in technology here is astounding, to the point of being able to say a section of strata is gas bearing form a 3D result...he mentioned too that data used to be supplied logged by time, now it arrives processed by depth, greatly reducing the interpretation time and, adding accuracy.

Just my opinion, but the tone i got was of a geo excited by what he is seeing, and again, the key word i took away was confidence.....again, just my viewpoint...
