Actually Holgate as head of Australia Post was a disaster.
Ask anyone who worked at the new automated Redbank postal facility near Brisbane & ask them about Holgate's decision making.

Holgate opened the Redbank facility before any testing of robotic equipment had been fully tested & operational, what happened a few days/weeks later was that the facility had to hand sought near 20,000 parcels because the facility bar code scanners & robotics was not fully tested.

The outcome caused thousands of parcel bar codes to be incorrectly read, with the repercussions being that parcels were being sent randomly all around the country.

I have a personal record of 1 of my parcels going from Melbourne to Brisbane and on 8 occasions the same parcels turned into a ping pong ball with the Redbank system unable to stop the parcel until the 9th occasion.

Did I receive a letter of SORRY for your inconvenience from Holgate ?????? NO


IMO: HOLGATE WAS A DISASTER & NEEDED REMOVAL.
