Are you really claiming that manipulation of PLS and other stocks using shorting is better & safer for traditional retail investors and reflecting truer MC's of listed companies than manipulation using ramping and the more traditional old ploys which we all recognise & know? Australia has easy access to more appropriate shorting platforms - the betting variety like Ladbrokes springs to mind and these are understandable and fine for sporting fans, but not for businesses and business investments.
Shorters only see their side of your coin for some reason, while I think the rest of us hold a more practical & objective view of the pro's and con's. Neither side is likely to change their stance, but eventually fairness and numbers will bring about much needed reforms. End of subject for me!
