The following will probably get lost in all the excitement but in my opinion it is important to look closely at the words of this announcement:

"BrainChip Early Access Program (EAP) customers in strategic end markets purchased Akida
evaluation systems for a range of edge applications. Following testing of the AKD1000
engineering samples, BrainChip improved the design in both performance, efficiency, and
scalability, adding additional operating modes for even lower power consumption than its
original design.
“I am grateful to our engineering team, who worked hard over the past eight months to
release the Akida technology for volume production, and to our EAP customers that have
helped lead us to market readiness,” said Peter van der Made, BrainChip CEO. “This move
to manufacturing is a major milestone for BrainChip and for the industry at large as the first
realistic opportunity to bring AI processing capability to edge devices for learning, enabling
personalization of products without the need for retraining.”

POINT 1: This indicates a significant addition advance. Taking uW's to mW's of power with a maximum power useage of around 100mW's as previously reported to even lower levels. Think about this anyone who has been invested and read about competitor chips will understand this is huge.

POINT 2: To fully understand the gravity of this statement think what this is telling us as investors. What types of products that use voice identification would be enhanced by the ability of AKD1000 to be personalised to a new or additional voice without going back to the factory to be completely retrained.

If you understand the technology and its progress you will understand that there has been a quantum improvement in the space of a few months of the engineering samples and the gratitude being expressed to the engineering team is well justified and more than worthy of recognition.
