Macquarie isn’t my favourite neither Andyroo.
The tux luxe image of their perfect petit four world of gourmet investment banking fell onnits ear a bit for me recently with the Nuix debacle.
.... and that was after I should have already learnt not to trust them after believing a glowing Macquarie report (after a site visit no less) on RCR Tomlinson - not long before it was suspended, emerged to raise a quick $100M, and then, almost immediately, was again suspended then put into administration.
Was Macquarie’s previous ‘fair valuation’ of 25c for PLS a contrarian signal to buy?
And if so should punters now run for the hills?
Or are we to be reassured by that conservative 8% from current prices you mention vs them favouring ORE, GXY and MIN so much more?
I dunno ... all just grist for the mill
