Significantly opens the way forward for substantial (volume) IP sales and application sales /adoption by interested parties in an exponentially exploding market of currently, poor market sufficiency relative to demand.

IMO a perfectly timed announcement with substantial implications for the company and potential customers for high volume sale agreements / lucrative revenue streams.

Most agreements in this space are pretty straightforward - eg:
10 yr agreement pretty standard - 5yr front end / 5yr reviewed back end
Potential one off Non recurring engineering fee if required ( customer product adaption - thinking your EAP may have already accounted for this so faster customer adoption in such cases)
500K - 2million for IP licensing fee payable, annually and upfront ( by the customer & per product - could be many products associated with the IP so the fee is payable for each)
1.5% - 3.5% ongoing royalty revenues based on annualised unit sales by the customer - but paid quarterly ( hence reviewable mid term subject to actual / projected supply and demand)
Again, the customer may have multiple products, each with an annual revenue stream and the royalty revenue is applicable to each product and payable quarterly for each.

Plenty on the web to cross reference such arrangements...
Rambus / Samsung IP - product agreement concluding in 2023 after 10 yr arrangement very similar to above but substantially more lucrative as Rambus have been at it a while ( Ron Black et al)
Dialogue / Global foundries IP - product agreement just struck and covering off on IP/ IoT and Reram
etc etc.

Anyway - expect a rerate on this announcement once the market acknowledges it - quite significant imo and perfectly timed.
