I wrote up a post this morning and forgot to put a disclosure on it so it wiped my work......very frustrating.
In short

the tenement thing.
not an issue I believe
clc is made up of nine areas with overlapping native lands.
the lander trough for example I believe falls into the tanami region and central region. These regions represents about 6 different aboriginal people...there are politics to be played.
If anything I believe its a good thing. We have enough on our plate right now to concentrate on. The deal is not dead. approval would have meant somewhat immediate expenditure. Other than the Lander Trough we are somewhat encircling the tenements and therefore have already got a working relationship with the owners. The CLC is playing games and it wont do the owners any favours and this will eventually be resolved IMO

The following is a good read re the NT governements commitment to make things work and this is why they are out there advertising they are "open for business", they are aware that the 55mill odd in train for exploration is not set in stone and they will do what they can to resolve issues they can effect.
