And for anyone thinking that Mount Lindsay/Stanley River area is a massive old growth type temperate rainforest type area... uuimmm no... a lot of button grass ... low grass... shrubby, sandy type ground. The pic above is looking back over Stanley river area to Mount Lindsay! We’ve hiked around the area ourselves! If you want to see a proper tarkine temperate rainforest, go for a drive between Waratah and savage river! You’ll soon see that in comparison, the Mount Lindsay/Stanley river area was meant to be mined and can be rehabilitated more than appropriately!
