if the Reddit commentary is really from a practising Oncologist, and they really are misunderstanding, I wouldn’t describe this as “amusing”. Patients (real people) wouldn’t be getting the best available care - They’d be experiencing either unnecessary heart damage, or insufficient treatment (maybe both). “Tragic” would be a better descriptor.
