A really bad look for those involved in doing wrong for cheap political points at the time, at great expense to Christine Holgate and ultimately to anybody expecting a reason standard from a P.M. who could easily have said "I'm not aware of all the full details and believe it would be unfair to comment on any situation without the details and the context". How hard that have been for somebody supposedly to be Prime Ministerial material?

After all he's happy to stick by Ministers that by any reasonable standard should have been given their marching orders.

Labor were stupid and the liberals followed suit, the next election will be about who is the least worst idiots, but just because labor was involved does not excuse in any way Scott Morrisons own part, which was utterly inexcusable, showing again why he should not be P.M.

This should IMO be about standards not the old binary finger pointing. Just saying.

BTW, if you do a bit of research you will find of the two Morrison has the biggest question mark hanging over him. Far more questionable outcomes realated to Morrison than Albanese. Not sure if Ablanese should keep his position by there is not doubt Morrison should be replaced.

The Board is primarily responsible for her sacking aided and abetted by the PM & the Two relevant Ministers (Stakeholders)
Like the ABC CEO sacking , this is a messy example of political interference by Government and a Liberal/LNP stacked Board
who may have been overly influenced by the parliamentary rant by the PM, IMO.

The modus operandi resembles the axing of the former ABC CEO which the taxpayer paid dearly for.
If the misuse of $12K taxpayers' funds is a sacking offence, then surely the illegal sacking of a CEO and the
subsequent millions of damages in court & compensation should also be a sacking offence.

The taxpayer paid Ms Gutrie, ex-ABC CEO $1.64 million for the Government's wrongful dismissal
and IMO, MS Holgate's payout will be twice that (all for the sake of $12K....hello)

In 2017 the Aus Post Board paid over $10 million to Ms Holgate's predecessor !
