The RIO news re Chinalco will mean that OZL will bid farewell to the MinMetals proposal. To avoid the break fee, the directors will continue to 'favour' the deal but knowing that shareholders will vote it down leaving the way clear for a raising or alternate proposal from the two new suiters. This way OZL will save a huge payment to MinMetals & will survive as a much stronger focused company AND we get rid of Makeuspoor. Win win.
