wink, re my earlier post. I checked 200 ema on bigcharts. it could be another case of, as volt figured out, how big charts calculate the indices. Bigcharts has the spx touching the 200 day ema for the first time last night....because of recent discrepencies with bigcharts I thought I would check on stockcharts.com. they tell a slightly different story. they have one close above the 200 day ema on tuesday, back below wed and a failed attempt friday.


and then i looked at bigcharts again and they change their story depending on if you look at the 1 or 2 or 3 month chart ????? I used one month earlier.

i must say even the stockcharts account of events is less than encouraging.
