your point about the JV and the WA state government is worth noting... Colin Barnett has already indicated he is not convinced that the JV is in the "national interest" - so there may be some argy bargy to come at state level which may deliver some benefits to the juniors.

My first thought on news of the JV was "d*amn!" - but to satisfy competition concerns this may force more explicit concessions for junior players into any final agreement ratified by the state government (hope so anyway).
