in Vietnam - the winners worst crime was that they were 'commos' -- who, of course turned out to be pretty good - and, now - are friends and many of us discover that Vietnamese are one of the friendliest peoples on earth.
Afghanistan is different - Afghans are also some of the friendliest people - who have some traditions that are absolutely wonderful -
the problem is - this isn't Vietnam --------- the Afghanistan war winners are religious loonies - there's no getting around that one atm - and, the future doesn't look all that good at all.
After the victory - Vietnam and Vietnamese certainly didn't hold any grudges - indeed, would have just got on with it - and, did - but, were treated badly by - guess who - America -- anyway - even after that - they are a very friendly bunch
can we imagine that of the Taliban????????? shake hands, get on with life - forget all the terrorism stuff?????
hmmmm - for me - can't see it --------- they know America is weak - they know Australia is weak - they know America harmed Afghanistan - and those Aussies as well ----
if we are learning what our SAS did - you can bet your bippy that it's common knowledge in Afghanistan
