i know a couple who chose to end their life - they weren't ill, they weren't frail and they had all their faculties - they were just tired of life and arranged it in Switzerland. it was a long process but there was something about it - they said goodbye - they sold everything and they distributed it as they chose. no lawyers, no funeral directors. just beautiful good byes and a chance for us all to mourn them and wish them well.
it takes a lot of courage though and most don't have it
