"quoted price is after Govt subsidy"
The summary at the top of the announcement refers to the pricing for Life having been "repositioned at $399 + $7.99 per month for the paired Spacetalk App, to be able to be funded for eligible persons" through the HCP, CHSP and NDIS. Also the second last para on page 3 states "LIFE will retail at a price of $399". So this reads to me like a new retail price before any subsidy, with no reference to being net of subsidy. Let me know if I missed a "net of subsidy" reference.
Correction to my previous post: The reference to 40% is actually to pricing "below other lower featured devices currently available". Given the original pricing of $549 + $9.99 pm, this price reduction is ~25-30%, not the 40% reduction to the current pricing of Life as I initially thought.
