There's an interesting book titled 'The Adelong Goldfields' written by L.F. Harper (published in 1916) that has some great info about the gold grades that were being mined during the 1859 - 1876 period....looks like some of the principal Adelong reefs were averaging grades of between 2 to 7+ oz per tonne....(and we get excited about 2 to 7 g/t)....but who knows....maybe there's a 7oz/t mother lode that's been hiding away all this time, just waiting to be discovered by DDD....
