I am not sure if you know how long pharma deals normally take to complete. Big Pharma (like all big companies) goes through a very slow and deliberate process behind closed doors where they thoroughly vet the IP before making a firm offer. I am sure the Accent Therapeutics deal AstraZenica did took more than 12 months to finalise from first approach. While Big Pharma can move fast on occasion, it is not the norm.
While it is our stated aim to do a pharma deal, from a shareholders perspective, the more time we have to gather data the better. The value of any deal is going to be set by our SP and the quality of data we have. The SP we can’t do much about, but gathering data we can.
