Dear Niclou,
With respect to given CSS credit for the concept of farming fish, or even Tuna per se, aquaculture has been practised by the Asians for thousands of years, albeit predominantly fresh water species until last century.
With respect to Tuna, the Japanese have been attempting to close the life cycle since the 1960's and they too have had success at breeding small numbers in their hatchery.
With respect to the press release pertaining to Hagen Stehr being asked to address aquaculture experts on their success with Tuna, what a crock of _____________*
The fact is that CSS used Danish contractors to assist with the design and construction of their hatchery and land based larval rearing systems. Can someone remind me where Denmark is again?
Furthermore, the professional Aquaculture world knows that without the Japanese, CSS would be no where.
This reeks of the hubris that we have all seen before in the likes of Phil Green, Eddie Groves, Tim Johnston (?) (Firepower) etc.
Beware, it is a great idea, has tremendous potential but I repeat, is not run by the right people. Initial holders of stock have been diluted to hell and back by the numerous placements and capital raisings. There will be more, this is not a well run company.
Hunters do not make good farmers.
