I believe they do not answer questions in a granular level because if one question is answered, the floodgates of expectation are opened, and 1 answered question turns into 5 more.
If they answer 'yes' to the query of "is 1st patient enrolled," what's the likelihood the party asking the question just says, 'Great!' and walks away? None.
They then ask, What stage is that patient at? Have they had there NP shot? Have they had their scan? Have they had their biopsy? Has their biopsy been scanned? And if those questions are answered, the asked says, "how's patient 2 coming along?"
If IBX doesn't elaborate, the unsatisfied asker of the question remains unsatisfied with the lack of detail provided.
