That's not what would happen though. As soon as the current government realised their baseless hardarse stance was shakey they would come to some sort of compromise with the company in order to save face. Remember - this is the ONE issue they campained on and other than this they have no idea how to actually run a country (ok well some idea: pig farming and jewelry lol).
It would be something along the lines of uranium being taken off-shore or telling everyone they'd forced the company to double the size of their damn or something like that.
Besides - if it goes through litigation and we somehow come out ok, it's only a hostile political environment with the current government. How well do you think they'd go in the next election if they failed on the ONE thing they campaigned on (and it came out that they'd been maniuplating the public with an unfounded scare campaign)

still keeping an eye on it all though waiting for an opportunity to get back in.
