It's not so much an attack on independent thinkers or intolerance but it's pointing out that the so-called independent thinker you are referring to gives little weight to the discussion.
They also give one-line answers with quite frankly add little value. I feel for people who are new to the game and have to read some of the nonsense. Having been around a while I have learnt to let it wash over. However, occasionally some posters need to be pulled up. Why do you think HC has a set of rules for posting
I have no problem with all opinions at all. As long as they are decently discussed and not just typical of those in HC land who are just being mischievous and distracting from the real scenario and trying to make money of those who are naive.
