The hype on BML’s threads about the silver price exploding looks so overdone, if not indicative of obsessive compulsive disorder or OCD.
there’s a million reasons why it should rise, a million why it should fall and the last million why the current price is the value the market puts on the metal right now.
there’s no doubt the earnings from silver will be an important component from any possible future production from Sorby Hills, but the prospects for the project are largely hinged to lead and zinc prices, and possibly even a soft loan from a govt fund.
Sorby Hills progress towards an investment decision, development and production is if not glacial is certainly slow moving, which the relentless hype about an impending silver price boom isn’t helping.
punters holding their breath as they look for the rally would have self asphyxiated many times over.
i’m not saying silver won’t have it’s day in the sun, just that the relentless hype is tedious.
