Makes perfect sense and I agree it would be interesting to know which side wanted it private. Although you could argue it is "standard" for these types of things.
Tounge firmly in cheek, it does seem like another benefit of the private settlement is that some here can speculate on a massive win, and damages figure for the CEO.
Just have to put it down to another one of life's mysteries!
