I just got a notification saying we have hit 250 members for the subreddit. Membership growth has slowed down but we are still averaging hundreds of views per day.

When I see the subreddits for other stocks which have hundreds of thousands of members, I have been thinking just how early we all are. I recently heard a quote along the lines of "if you are investing in the trades of the last five years, those trades are old and everyone knows about them. Look at where the market is headed."

Here are a few personal anecdotes, of which I have been recounting to myself whenever I question my conviction in Talga. In 2012 or 2013, I became aware of Bitcoin when I believe it was somewhere between $10 and $100. I had even briefly mined a very small amount. Back then, no one was talking about Bitcoin besides a few tech publications. Less than five years later it shot up into the mainstream. In 2016, I had purchased an AMD CPU. Shortly after, I became aware of the AMD stock when it was trading for about $10. Back then, no one was taking AMD and their CPU and GPU range seriously and all lights were on Intel and Nvidia. Less than five years later, the AMD share price has shot up and there is now mainstream attention on the semiconductor supply crunch. Unfortunately, I didn't invest in any of those two.

I see similarities now with Talga. As graphite and the anode are so misunderstood. Videos on such topics, like those posted here, garner only several thousand views and the mainstream is rarely talking about these topics. So just imagine, how will the next five years look for us?

With all this being said, I believe the subreddit has been building a great collection of content primed for future visitors and I look forward to the coming years.
