hey columbia, you don't have to wait 2 years if you know where you're money is. The thing is you can sleep well.
I remember 18 months ago I had a big stake in Centro and I remember I couldn't sleep well...I sold, lost some money and my sleep came back...but that time I didn't know where my money was...
GMG is totally different story, IMO (no jokes) GMG has great potential, and the only thing that is preventing me now of putting my money in is all the uncertainty around capital initiatives. I don’t believe the 400m options from MQG are going to be for free, neither CIC or Canadian guys are going to pour their money in without getting something in return and whether we like it or not the ones who paid are the shareholders (us).
IMO this uncertainty factor is the key to understand the low sp at the moment. Probably if this factor disappear (which eventually will) the sp will rocket up, but in the meantime is all about speculation and play it in the short-term.
An equivalent issue is BBI which is facing a juicy asset sale which is probably 3times the stock sp but at the same time they’re facing a huge burden with debt. GMG and BBI are playing in different lanes but both of them share a huge potential but too much uncertainty (on top of everything BBI still holding the BB name which makes it unattractive).
My only advice is “sleep well” and I believe that you can only do that by understanding well where your money is and following your own decisions being fully accountable for what you do either selling, holding or buying.
Honestly, Good Luck!!! I’ll probably join you as a shareholder soon (which probably won’t make you happy since MY prediction, or speculation, is that the sp is going to drop under 30c)
