The thing that worries me about these experimental vaccines is no one knows why these vaccines are causing blood clots (and other auto-immune diseases) in some people.
Is it because there is something wrong with these people that makes them prone to these diseases? Or, are the vaccines setting up the immune system to cause these diseases to happen to anyone some time in the future and these are the early birds?
It appears that if an auto-immune disease happens just after getting vaccinated, then a causal link to the vaccine is suspected. But, what if someone develops an auto-immune disease months, or years, after taking the vaccine? Will that be associated with the vaccine? Or will they just say: "some people get that disease for an unknown reason and you must be one of them"?
I am afraid that we may not know the answer to this for a very long time because it will require long term population monitoring and statistical analysis of disease prevalence. And even if that indicates a certain disease has increased dramatically after the vaccination program, they can always say: "correlation does not necessarily indicate causation" and continue with the vaccination program.
I suppose it boils down to risk management. While the risk of catching covid is low "wait and see" might be the best strategy because this can provide more understanding and better vaccines and treatment options in the near future.
But if the risk of catching covid and becoming seriously ill from it becomes high, then taking a vaccine might be worth considering.
