They are working right now. There's your proof. While 3 day lockdowns are a giant pain they are much better than the alternative. A city doesn't completely shutdown with a 3 day lockdown. Particularly over a weekend. And in this case it's a long weekend.
I note the hc experts are pontificating about an alternative without actually having a working example. Let alone how much it would cost to move all the support to multiple remote locations or explain how the transport and other logistics would work. I haven't seen a number posted anywhere.
