    Outstanding work @Mason14. I don’t necessarily agree with everything in your post, but you make a very convincing case for the "Bisantrene is a good FTO inhibitor/bad anthracycline(like)" hypothesis. The clinical data you highlight is very, very interesting and something I have noticed myself.

    On a less important note I leaned yesterday reading the ancient literature (1990s) that FTO is not short for Fat and Obesity Associated protein, but short for Fatso - a gene found to be deleted in a mutant mouse with fused toes [1]. I am not sure how the name got changed in later papers, but FTO as a name now makes much more sense given this history - it always seemed strange to me that Fat and Obesity Associated protein was somehow was shorted to FTO.
